This tree is now split into projects so you can quickly find the project you are looking for. You will find the Apache HTTP Server project under httpd/.

Documentation is available in four formats:

• Files ending in chm are MS-Windows help files for use on win32 systems.
• Files ending in pdf are in portable document format useful for offline viewing and printing.
• Files ending in maff.zip are single-language HTML format, viewable without a webserver. If you have installed the MAF plugin for Mozilla browsers, you can open them directly from the local disk.
• Files ending in war are single-language Konqueror web archives to be opened directly from the local disk.

The language of each package is indicated by the two-letter extension preceeding the chm/pdf/maff.zip/war.

Finally, the tools file is the contents of the site-tools/httpd-docs-build cvs repository for use by documentation writers wanting to build the documentation from the httpd-2.0 source tree.
